Charles is a dedicated and experienced team member who has been with Sun State for 13 years. He began serving as a Lead Foreman, overseeing field operations and leading crews to ensure projects were completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
In 2022, Charles was promoted to Production Supervisor, taking on additional responsibilities that include managing production workflows, coordinating resources, and supporting team development. His extensive industry knowledge, strong work ethic, and proven leadership skills make him a valuable asset to Sun State and an important contributor to the company’s continued growth and success.

Ed began his career in the landscape industry in 1993 as a crew leader, advancing into account management and now serving as a Business Development Representative for Sun State. With over 30 years of industry experience, Ed is passionate about building relationships, creating opportunities, and continuing to support the growth and success of the landscape industry.
Outside of work, Edward enjoys being the best dad he can be, riding motorcycles, fishing, and watching great movies.

Trey Starling brings over 15 years of landscape industry experience, including 10 years in account management. A Licensed Florida Landscape Technician and Florida Best Management Practices (BMP) certified professional, he pairs deep industry knowledge with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Trey takes pride in building lasting client relationships and developing practical solutions that enhance the beauty, health, and function of outdoor spaces. He stays current with industry standards to give clients knowledgeable guidance and dependable support. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors.
